Best Baked Beans

This is a family favorite that has been passed down three generations to me.  It has evolved slightly, but still takes me right back to my grandma’s backyard.

2  (28 oz.) cans of Bush’s Original Baked Beans
1 lb. bacon - browned, drained, crumbled
1 medium onion, diced
2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
½ cup ketchup
1 cup brown sugar, packed
2 Tbsp. white distilled vinegar
1 Tbsp. molasses
1 ½ tsp. yellow mustard
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, with juice

Mix all ingredients in a large bowl.  Pour into a 9 x 13 baking dish. Bake for at least 2 hours at 250 degrees - 3 or even 4 hours is better.  Remove from oven 5-10 minutes before serving.
