Poppy Seed Cake

One of our most requested cakes for birthdays!

1 pkg. yellow cake mix
4 eggs
1 (3 1/2 oz.) pkg. instant vanilla pudding
1 cup water
1/2 cup oil
1 Tbsp. almond extract
3 Tbsp. poppy seeds

Cinnamon Sugar Mixture:
1/2 cup sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon




Mix all ingredients except poppy seeds and beat for 10 minutes. Stir in poppy seeds. Generously grease Bundt pan and then sprinkle with cinnamon/sugar mixture. Pour mixture into pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-50 minutes. Cool for 10 minutes before removing from pan.
