Strawberry Poke Cake

We served this cake at our "Activity Days Girls" Mother's and Daughter's Meeting and everyone said "put it in the cookbook!" So here it is... Enjoy!
1 white cake mix (follow directions on box)
1 cup boiling water and 1/4 cup cold water
1 (8 oz.) container Cool Whip, thawed
Sliced strawberries for garnish
Prepare and bake cake according to pkg. directions in 9 x 13 pan. Let cool 20 minutes.Using a large fork poke holes at 1/2 inch intervals all over the cake. Dissolve the Jello in boiling water, then add 1/4 cup cold water. Carefully pour Jello mixture evenly over the top of the cake. Cover. Chill in refrigerator for a few hours. Cover cake with Cool Whip when ready to serve. Garnish with sliced strawberries.
