Baked Ziti

While living in Atlanta, I started making recipes I had never made before. As a family we decided which ones were keepers and which ones were not. This was a keeper and has become a favorite.

1 lb. ziti, cooked, rinsed and drained
1 lb. hamburger, browned and drained
2 cups mozzarella cheese, grated

Mix well in blender:

3 (14.5 oz.) cans stewed tomatoes 
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup parmesan cheese
1 Tbsp. basil, dried
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 cup oil

Put drained ziti into baking dish; add stewed tomato mixture and meat and stir gently. Top with grated mozzarella cheese. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes or until cheese is melted and set.
