Candied Sweet Potatoes

Some in our extended family consider this their Thanksgiving dessert - it is that good!
1 (40 oz.) can sweet potatoes, or 3 cups mashed sweet potatoes, boiled and peeled.
1 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1/4 cup melted butter
1 tsp. salt
Generous 1/2 cup milk
Beat all ingredients together with mixer and spread into a 9 x 13 greased pan. Sprinkle with streusel.
Streusel:
1 cup light brown sugar, packed
1/4 cup flour
1/4 cup cold butter - cut in til crumbly
1 cup chopped peacans
Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
