Crockpot Refried Beans

We love this side dish with taco salad, enchiladas or tacos!!!  It is so easy to make.

2 cups dried pinto beans
6 cups water
1 tsp. salt
Grated cheese

Mix beans, water and salt in crockpot. Cook on high for 5-6 hours, or until very tender. Remove enough of the water (but set it aside) so it's not too runny and blend beans with hand mixer or mash really well.  Add some water back, if needed, until it is the desired consistency. Stir in grated cheddar cheese last - at least a cup!
