Jasmine Freed Rich's Lemon Ice Cream

This was one of my moms favorite recipes for outdoor summer parties.  We always looked forward to my mom’s lemon ice cream. 

6 Quart Machine:
1-2 tablespoons lemon extract
6 cups sugar
1 1/2 cups lemon juice
3 quarts 2 percent milk
1 1/2 pints whipping cream

4 Quart Machine:
2 teaspoons lemon extract
4 cups sugar
1 cup lemon juice
2 quarts 2 percent milk
1 pint whipping cream

Combine and freeze according to your machine's directions.
