Lemon Sorbet

This is one of my favorite dessert recipes that I like to make for my family and friends.

3 1/2 cups water
1 cup sugar
1 cup fresh lemon juice
1 1/2 tsp. lemon zest 



On the stove, dissolve sugar in hot water. Add additional ingredients. Place in ice cream maker or put in 9 x 13 pan in the freezer, stirring every 30 minutes until set.
