Marbled Bundt Cake

My sister-in-law created this bundt cake recipe after many tries to get it just right. It is one of my favorite desserts to make. You can use either chocolate or vanilla or both for two cakes, or you can alternate the batter for two marbled bundt cakes. You can freeze the second cake.


1 pkg. cake mix, chocolate or vanilla
4 eggs
1 cup flour
3/4 cup oil
1 cup water
1 pkg. of vanilla or chocolate pudding mix (to match the flavor of the cake mix)
1 cup applesauce

Blend in the mixer for three minutes. Pour into greased and floured bundt pans; bake 1 hour at
325-350 degrees, depending on your oven. Tip: If baking chocolate one, "flour" the greased pan with cocoa powder instead of white flour. Let rest 5 minutes, then remove from the pan onto a cake plate and sprinkle powdered sugar on top.
