Strawberry Ice Cream

This recipe comes from Audrey Zwick. She was one of my Young Women leaders when I was growing up. She would often have us all in her home for a lovely luncheon where we all felt so special and loved. This is a recipe she shared with me and that I have kept in my recipe file all these years.
3 eggs
4 cups strawberries
3 cups sugar
1 pint whipping cream
1 can evaporated milk
Juice of 3 lemons
1 cup fresh orange juice
Slice berries and whip cream, but do not sweeten. Combine eggs and sugar and mix well. Add juices and canned milk. Fold in whipped cream and sliced berries. Add milk if needed to fill ice cream freezer to custard fill line. Freeze following manufacturer's instructions and enjoy.4 cups strawberries
