Tunnel of Fudge Cake

Dan's Mom used to make this and it is a Perkins family tradition. We all love it.
1 3/4 cups white sugar
1 3/4 cups butter, softened
6 eggs
2 cups powdered sugar
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a 12 cup Bundt pan.
In a large bowl, beat sugar and butter until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each additional one. Gradually add powdered sugar; blend well. By hand stir in flour and cocoa until well blended. Spoon batter into prepared Bundt pan; spread evenly. Bake 55-60 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool upright on a wire rack one hour. Invert onto serving plate and cool completely.
