Apple Crunch

This is a recipe from my college cooking class with Miss Penner.  It is the class where I learned to make killer pie crust and to butcher a chicken.

4 medium apples, peeled and sliced thinly
2/3 tsp. cinnamon
2/3 cup flour
1 cup rolled oats
1 cup brown sugar
2/3 cup butter

Put apples in baking dish. Mix cinnamon with flour.  Thoroughly combine flour mixture with oats, sugar and butter (I use a pastry blender). Sprinkle crumb mixture over apples. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
