Fruit Cup

My family has enjoyed this every Christmas morning as long as I can remember.  I love the recipe because I can have all the ingredients on hand and make it at a moment’s notice.
  • 1 gallon orange juice (can be from concentrate)
  • 1 (6 oz.) can pineapple juice
  • 1 (20 oz.) can pineapple chunks in juice
  • 1 (15 oz.) can sliced peaches in juice
  • 1 (15 oz.) can sliced pears in juice
  • 1 small jar maraschino cherries, drained
  • 1 or 2 bananas, sliced
  • Optional:
Fresh in-season fruit (raspberries, strawberries, blueberries, peaches)


  1. Pour orange and pineapple juice into a large bowl and stir.
  2. Add cans of fruit (plus juice) and cherries, stir
  3. Add sliced bananas and fresh fruit, if using.
