Crockpot Pulled Pork
Maryn Cardinal
This pulled pork is so easy and is a great go-to recipe when a friend needs a meal.
1 (2 lb.) pork tenderloin
1/2 small onion, chopped (optional)
1 (8 oz.) can root beer (or other soda like Dr. Pepper or Coke)
1 (16 oz.) bottle barbecue sauce
salt and pepper to taste
8 hamburger buns
Place the pork tenderloin in a slow cooker; pour root beer over the meat. Cover and cook on low until well cooked and the pork shreds easily, about 6 to 7 hours. Drain well. Stir in barbecue sauce. Serve on hamburger buns.
