Frosted Lemon Butter Cookies

Chaunie Ballard Larsen, (Elder Ballard's sister) is a marvelous cook and so generous with her "baking and bringing." These are wonderful cookies that melt in your mouth.
1 cup butter, room temperature
1/2 cup powdered sugar
2/3 cup cornstarch
1 cup flour
Beat butter until fluffy then add powdered sugar and mix. Combine cornstarch and flour and beat into butter mixture. Drop by spoonful onto sprayed cookie sheet. Bake at 325 degrees for 15 minutes or until slightly brown on edges. Frost cooled cookies. Makes 2-2 1/2 dozen.
Frosting: Beat until fluffy:
1/4 cup butter, room temperature
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
Rind of 1 lemon
2 1/2-3 cups powdered sugar
