Pear Honey Jam

When I worked at Welfare Square Storage Center, I mentioned that I had a pear tree. One of the missionaries gave me this recipe. Sometimes, at the end of a meal, I like a spoonful of the sweet jam on a last bite of bread.
Bring to a boil:
6 cups cooked pureed pears
1 pkg. Sure-jell less sugar pectin
Add and boil hard for 4 minutes:
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. allspice
6 cups sugar
1/4 cup lemon juice
Process jars 10 minutes. (This is a canning process you can look up.)
