Erin's Famous Chocolate Chip Cookies
Erin Olsen
This is my kids favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe... and mine too!
2 cups flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 cup softened butter (NOT melted)
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
1 Tbsp. vanilla
1 egg
1 egg yolk
2 cups of Guittard brand milk chocolate chips (my favorite) or any other brand.
Combine flour, baking soda and salt in a bowl. Set aside. In a separate bowl combine butter, brown sugar and sugar and mix together. Then add vanilla and eggs one by one mixing after each one. Then add dry mix (flour, baking soda and salt) to wet mixture and blend together. Then add chocolate chips. Grease pan and bake at 325 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Cookies are better when just starting to brown on top. Much more tasty under done than over done. Enjoy!
