Taco Soup

A favorite at our cabin in the winter. The family sledding Christmas party would not be the same without it.

1 1/2 lbs. hamburger
1 cup sliced carrots
1 cup sliced celery
2 cans cream of potato soup
1 qt. tomatoes
1 can beef broth
1 pkg. taco seasoning
2 large cans kidney beans
1 can water
1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
Mozzarella cheese
Corn chips
2 small avocados

Fry hamburger. Cook carrots and celery until tender. Add rest of ingredients and simmer 1 hour. Garnish with mozzarella cheese and crushed corn chips. Add avocados, peeled, seeded, and chopped just before serving.
