Boyer Family Chicken Casserole
Carolyn Nelson
We have served this at our Boyer Family Christmas Party for about the last ten years. Each mom makes about two 9 x 13 pans. Great when having a big dinner because it's out of the way in the oven.
In buttered 9 x 13 casserole dish place:
8 chicken breasts (If using the big Costco ones, I cut them in half.)
Cover with:
Slice of Swiss cheese
Mix together and pour over chicken:
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 cup sour cream
3/4 cup white cooking wine
Top with:
Crushed Ritz crackers (1 pack out of a 13 oz. package)
1/2 square melted butter
Cook, uncovered, at 225 degrees for 3 hours. (Can cook half hour longer if needed.) Serve with rice.
