Gulliver's Creamed Corn
Julia Moffitt
While serving our mission in Anaheim, California we found a wonderful restaurant called Gulliver's. It's famous for its Prime Rib, but we loved their creamed corn. We asked them for the recipe and they gave it to us!
2 (20 oz.) pkgs. frozen kernel corn
8 oz. (1/2 pint) whipping cream
8 oz. milk
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. accent
6 tsp. sugar
Pinch white or cayenne pepper
2 Tbsp. melted butter
2 Tbsp. flour
Combine all ingredients except butter and flour and bring to a boil. Simmer 5 minutes. Blend butter with flour, add to corn, mix well and remove from heat.
