Leslie's Hot Fudge Sauce

This is Jennifer Richards' recipe (from the Wasatch Hills ward) and is our family's favorite ice cream topping.  My son-in-law especially likes it over Costco frozen cream puffs.

3/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup cocoa
2 Tbsp. corn syrup
Dash of salt
1/4 cup milk
2 tsp. vanilla

In a saucepan, combine the sugar, butter, cocoa, corn syrup, and salt.  Cook over medium heat, stirring until blended.  Add milk and bring to a boil, stirring constantly.  Boil for 1 1/2 min.  Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.  Makes about 1 cup. (If you have any leftover, reheating it makes it thicker and thicker.)
