Baked Chicken Roll-ups or "Hamsters" **

Gayle Hughes

So yummy! Not sure why they are called hamsters, maybe they look like them...

2 cans crescent rolls (8 rolls per can)
2 (8 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese, softened
2 or 3 (12.5 oz.) cans chicken (or cook 2-4 chicken breasts and chop)
6-8 green onions, sliced
Seasonings such as garlic salt, pepper, seasoning salt, etc.
Cracker crumbs (like Ritz - put crackers in a large baggie and crush with rolling pin)
1 cube butter, melted
1 can cream of chicken soup
Milk
Sour cream

Mix chopped green onions, chicken, and seasonings with cream cheese. Mix well. Open the crescent roll tube. Unroll the dough then separate each triangle carefully. Place a large spoonful of the chicken-cream cheese mixture on the widest end of each crescent triangle, then roll the dough from largest end to smallest. Carefully dip the hamster in melted butter then roll generously in cracker crumbs. Place on a parchment lined baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
