Chili-Lime Steak

Look no further than your spice rack for the ingredients in this Southwest-inspired steak rub. Add a little fresh-squeezed lime juice and your steaks will taste like something from a restaurant.

1-2 lbs. boneless steak (flank steak works well)

Rub:
1 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. granulated garlic
1/2 tsp. cumin
1/2 tsp. coriander
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/8-1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
3/4 tsp. kosher salt
1/4 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
1 lime, juiced (about 2 Tbsp. lime juice)
1 tsp. extra-virgin olive oil
*For a smoky rub, chipotle chili powder may be substituted for the cayenne pepper.
