Halloween Oreo Cookie Butter Popcorn

This is a fun treat at Halloween but can be adjusted for any holiday! It's super addicting!
1 bag microwave popcorn (popped, 3-3.5 oz. bag)
1 2/3 cups white chocolate chips
1/3 cup Chocolate Chip Cookie Butter *
1 Tbsp. shortening
12 Halloween Oreos, roughly chopped
Pop your popcorn and pour into large bowl. Set aside. In double boiler combine white chocolate chips, cookie butter, and shortening. Heat and stir until completely melted, combined, and liquefied. Remove from heat and carefully pour over popcorn. Toss quickly to coat and combine. Add Oreos and continue to toss to coat and incorporate. Store in airtight container at room temperature for 24-48 hours.
CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE BUTTER
1/2 cup chocolate chip cookies, crumbled into small pieces
1/4 cup canola oil
2 Tbsp. water
1/2 cup + 1 Tbsp. confectioners sugar (more or less depending on the thickness you desire)
1/8 tsp. vanilla extract
Pulse cookie crumbles in blender. Add in oil, vanilla, and water. Pulse. Add confectioners sugar. Pulse until completely combined and smooth.Transfer to airtight container. Store at room temperature for 3-4 days.
