Fern's Hot Fudge Sauce

Store in a plastic container in the refrigerator.  Heat and use over ice cream or just grab a spoon every so often and have a bite as you pass the fridge.  That's what I do.

1/4 cup butter (4 Tbsp.)
1/4 cup flour
1/3 cup cocoa
1 can evaporated milk
2 cups sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix flour, cocoa and sugar in warm, heavy pan and slowly add can of milk and butter.
Bring to a boil for 3 minutes, no more! Remove from heat and add vanilla.
