Hot Ham and Cheese Sandwiches

My daughter-in-law calls these "Baptism Sandwiches." She currently lives in Boston and in their ward they make these to serve after a baptism. We recently served them at a granddaughter's baby blessing and they were a big hit.

3 dozen soft dinner rolls (I use King's Hawaiian dinner rolls)
2 lbs. deli meat (ham or turkey)
1 lb. sliced cheese, or approx 18 slices, cut in half (we use swiss cheese with the ham and havarti with the turkey)
Topping:
2 Tbsp. poppy seeds
2 Tbsp. dijon mustard
1/2 cup butter
1 Tbsp. minced dehydrated onion (optional)
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
Slice rolls and put small amount of turkey or ham with one slice of cheese. Place sandwiches in 2 (9×13) baking dishes or one large jelly roll pan.
Heat ingredients for topping in a saucepan until butter is melted. Brush or spoon topping onto sandwiches right before cooking. Cover with foil. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes or until cheese melts.
Serves about 15-20.
