Mud Pie

This is everyone in my family's favorite birthday cake! You can customize it to the birthday persons favorite ice cream flavors and it is practically fail proof - it will always turn out delicious!
1 1/2 pkgs. Oreos (approximate)
1 1/4 cups butter (depending on ratio of Oreos)
2 cartons of your favorite ice cream
Put Oreos and butter in food processor in increments or all together if it will fit. Use a round springform pan and press ground Oreos into pan forming a crust. Add the 2 cartons of ice cream on top of the Oreo crust. (I leave the ice cream out while I'm making the crust so it's nice and soft by the time I am putting it in the pan and easier to work with.) Freeze for at least 4 hours. Easiest to make 2-3 days ahead.
