Red Pepper Sauce

This recipe comes from my grandmother, Janice Romney, who was a fabulous cook. We love to serve it over cream cheese with crackers for a great holiday appetizer, but it can be used many different ways.

4 red peppers
1 tsp. salt
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup cider vinegar

Chop red peppers finely in food processor with salt.  Let sit 1 hour.  Add sugar and vinegar.  Cook until thickened.
